Welcome! I'm Kaylen Randall, MS, CCC-SLP, owner and openly autistic speech-language pathologist at Randall Therapy & Wellness, LLC. I specialize in autism, reading intervention, developmental language disorders, and aphasia. My primary goal is improving quality of life for my clients and their families through education, advocacy, and personalized services. No person is the same and therapy should not be a "one size fits all" approach. I value my clients' strengths, needs, and experiences; and I'll work with you to develop support plans that are meaningful and relevant to your daily life, goals, and interests.
I offer free 15-minute consultations for potential clients, so you can ask questions and determine if Randall Therapy & Wellness is a good fit for your family. Sessions are held in the clinic, home, school, and community depending upon the needs of the client. Contact us for more information!
About Your Clinician
I received my master's degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA as well as state licenses in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. As a neurodiversity-aligned therapist, I value my clients' unique differences, always presume competence, and respect their rights to self-advocacy and autonomy (the right to self-govern your body, feelings, thoughts, etc.) While at the University of Louisiana, I came to love school-age literacy and people with aphasia, and as an autistic person, I'm passionate about the rights of autistic children and ensuring that autistic voices are heard.
Some of my interests and hobbies (or "restricted, repetitive interests," a more negative term used by the DSM-5) include traveling, hiking, animals, music, and barre. Sometimes I get such an urge to get on a plane and go somewhere that I can hardly stand it, I had so many pets as a kid that I basically owned a zoo, and I can listen to the same song or album over and over again because I love it that much. I look forward to working with you and supporting your family's needs!
